Aging Wisely: UM Extension

Aging Wisely: Finding New Confidence and Purpose,” will meet at Thursday, April 6 @ 1:30p at the Willmar Community Center.

The program is part of a series to help support the educational, social and nutritional needs of older adults.

This month we will be hearing from Nate Erikson, of U of M Extension! We will hear about the gardening program offered through the UM Extension!

Nate Erickson is the co-founder of MNyou, a youth development organization providing youth opportunities to work in a garden setting. He’s also an Extension Educator with the University of Minnesota in Kandiyohi County. This summer will mark MNyou’s 7th year growing vegetables for people in the Willmar Lakes Area community.
