Birding for Beginners
Sibley State Park
May 31, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
June 21, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Want to try birding, but don’t know where to start? Join the naturalist on the Pondview Trail to learn about some of the birds that call the area home.
For the best experience, binoculars are recommended. Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. We have a limited number of binoculars available for those who do not have their own. Please ask the naturalist to borrow a pair when you arrive for the hike if needed.
We will be meeting at the Sibley Interpretive Center and hiking the Pondview Interpretive Trail. It is a 0.7-mile loop with a maximum grade of 7 percent for 190ft.
