Tour Lake George: History and Water Quality Success Stories

Do you want to learn more about Lake George, the unique urban lake in St. Cloud? Through a mile long guided walking tour, you will dig into the history of Lake George and its water quality improvements over the years, what’s being done to protect it, and why stormwater management is so critical. We’ll cover everything from the City’s alum treatments to the purpose of the little “Swan Pond” next to the lake. Tour will begin at the NE parking lot of Lake George and end at Beaver Island Brewery. Registration includes a catered meal and beverage option.
