VA2: Fused Glass and Mosaic Adventures! (Ages 10-14, July 11-July 13, 1-4pm)

Back by popular demand! Explore the exciting world of glass and create a variety of fun projects; including fused glass (a process of cutting and arranging your glass, which is then fired in a kiln to melt or fuse the glass into one piece) , glass on glass mosaic (we invite you to bring in an old plate or decorative item that can be incorporated into your mosaics! This is a great way to save Grandma’s broken tea cups or saucers!) and more!  Your imagination is your only limitation!

Our fun-filled camps are jam-packed with extraordinary opportunities to work with clay, painting and drawing, mixed media, glass projects and so much more!
A Quick note about our 10-14 year old classes:  Our older students will enjoy the focus of our structured classes that will help them develop their understanding and techniques of the medium that they are working in. With prior arrangement, these students are also welcome to work on independent projects with the guidance of their instructor, allowing for emphasis on the areas that interest them most.
