More about the comedians:
Comrade Tripp is one of the saddest stand-up comedians in Minnesota, and he wants you to know it. Born and raised in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, a city as large as it is small, Comrade successfully escaped to Minneapolis, which is marginally better. He has also found another home on the internet, which is several margins better. Despite his despondent disposition, he’s a child at heart. Insomuch that he cannot be trusted to take care of himself and has no self-esteem whatsoever. The rest of his body is very old. Comrade was named Growler Magazine’s Comics To Watch 2020. He is a co-producer of the award-winning Uproar Performing Arts collective and has been a featured performer at the 10K Laughs Festival and the Fargo Comedy Festival. He was also the runner-up in House of Comedy’s Funniest Person with a Day Job Contest & Sisyphus Brewing’s Funniest Person in Minneapolis Contest, twice; he has never won anything in his life and he never will.

Aron Woldeslassie is a stand-up comedian, author, and producer based in St. Paul. His comedy comes from a blend of observations on race, relationships, and culture as well as personal stories. Aron is a founding member of the Nordly and Minnesota Tonight. His work has been featured on Minnesota Public Radio, TPT’s Almanac, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, various literary magazines, and Aron was named a finalist in both the Sisyphus Brewing’s 2021 Funniest Person in Minneapolis Contest and the House of Comedy’s 2023 Funniest Person with a Day-Job Contest.

Lucy Beers Shenk is a Minneapolis-based comedian and writer. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she moved to the Twin Cities in 2015. In 2023, she was a part of the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis, MN. Lucy won the Comedy Corner Underground’s Funniest Person in Space and Time contest in 2023 and was a finalist in Sisyphus Brewing’s 2023 Funniest Person in Minneapolis contest. She is a regular at the Comedy Corner Underground and can be seen performing all around the Twin Cities.
