Veterans Memorials Across the 320

This is a list that will grow over time. It offers pictures of Veterans Memorials across 320 and the facilities that are onsite or nearby. They are listed in no particular order.


Long Prairie

There are no facilities on site, but as this is found in downtown long prairie there are facilities nearby. In the summer there is a concert series that takes place in the park.

Osakis

There is a Handicap Porta Potty on site and during months with warmer weather there is a drinking fountain.

Freeport

No facilities, but this is memorial is found in a downtown area near restaurants.

Where: Veterans Memorial, Main Street East, Freeport, MN


Alexandria

There are modern facilities available on site. The memorial is downtown near shopping, and restaurants.

Hector

Found on the south end of town at the entrance to the airport. There are no facilities nearby.

Litchfield

This memorial is found on the south end of town near the city park beach and playground. There are modern facilities as part of the park, but they are closed during the winter months.

Sauk Centre

Located in Sinclair Lewis Park, there are modern facilities found on the far end of the park. The local American Legion is across the street to the south.

The area of 320 runs from the North and South Dakota boarders across Central Minnesota to Wisconsin. To be sure, there are additional veterans memorials to be visited in this area. As we find them, we will will add them to this list.
