CCS 5K Run/Walk 2023

We are excited to be bringing back our annual CCS 5K Run/ Walk, Saturday September 9th, 2023!
We appreciate your support in our Fall Sports Fundraiser!
5 K run – Individual

Register on-line ONLY
During the on-line registration process you will be asked to select a time for the start of your race. Start times will range from 9:00am-9:30am.
Race day:
Show up at the starting line for the race. The start location will be the end of the driveway behind the school gym.
You should have your bib number attached on the front of your shirt just above the waist to get the best read-rate. Bibs located anywhere else will have a lower read-rate. Bib numbers need to be visible when you cross the finish line.
Find your group near the starting line. Example: 9:00 start time runners will look for a sign stating 9:00. Collect near the sign being cautious of social distancing. (6FT) A volunteer will check bibs numbers prior to your start time. You will following the volunteer to the start line and be sent off at your designated time.
Plan to be at the starting line ten minutes ahead of your start time. Please limit the time you are at the event prior to the race or after. A disposable mask will be provided in your packet. You are encouraged to wear the mask up until the start time. A trash can will be available at the start to dispose of your mask.
For your safety we encourage you to bring your own liquids for the race.
Water stops will be self-serve. Bottles will be available for pickup at each stop (water only). Trash cans will be spaced along the course. Please DO NOT drop bottles on the course. Please carry the bottle to the near trash or next water stop.
A utility vehicles will be patrolling the course. Extra water will be available on the carts.
Upon finishing the race, prepackaged refreshments will be available for each runner.
Times will be available on-line at www.pickleevents.com . The award winners will be posted on-line as well.

Runner Shirts:
All pre-registered runners and walkers registered by 9/1/23 will be guaranteed a t-shirt in their size. After 9/1/23 and on race day t-shirts are distributed on a “first come, first served” basis.

Male/Female 8 & under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-65, and 66 plus
Awards:
Medals 1-3 overall male and female
Medals 1-3 divisions
