The Sanskrit word Chakra refers to vortexes of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras that align along the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Chakras are not seen by the human eye but can be understood, felt, and sensed with intuition. These swirling wheels of energy correspond to our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Since everything is moving, it’s essential that our seven main chakras stay open, aligned, and fluid. During these classes we will cover specific Chakra basics, examine different techniques you can use with each chakra and end with Savasana in the Salt Cave. Class breakdown: 20-30 minutes Chakra knowledge, 20-30 minutes Chakra Yoga/physical movement, 15-minute Salt Cave Savasana (Rest/Meditation). No Yoga experience is required! Just a willing spirit and an open mind; ALL bodies welcome. Classes will be on Fridays at 6pm (75 minutes) starting February 3rd. Please note the specific dates below.
