History:
Kandi Acres is a farm in Hawick, Minnesota established in 2018. Over the last five years we have strived to build relationships within the local communities by bringing fresh food to our farmers’ markets and grocery stores, being an active chamber member , a community leader and participating in local events. Four years ago, a passion for our community, relationships and celebrating our favorite holiday collided as the farm started hosting an open house Halloween event. We took this opportunity to help raise money and food for the local community centers and food banks. This past year we added food trucks, a live DJ, local crafters and vendors as well as a full-scale haunted house. It goes without saying that this Halloween event has grown over the past four years in attendance and activities as well as volunteer hours and costs.
