Kandiyohi County Fun with Plants Camp Series
Youth will create a long lasting garden with the Kandiyohi County Master Gardeners at the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds throughout this camp series.
Participants will:
-Meet Master Gardeners
-Learn about annuals and perennials
-Design and plant a garden
-Create decorative garden items
-Understand garden maintenance and so much more!
Schedule:
Day 1: May 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. – Pizza served
Day 2: May 4 from 9 a.m. to noon
Day 3: June 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Bring a packed lunch
Day 4: July 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Bring a packed lunch.
Open to all youth in grades K and up. Master Gardener volunteers will divide youth into groups.
Parents are welcome to attend the first two days.
