Listen & Learn: Alexandria Senior Center – Setting a Vision for the Future

The Alexandria Senior Center has played a key role in combating loneliness and helping seniors maintain their independence for nearly four decades. What changes does it need to make to meet the changing needs of a growing senior community (projected to be at 44% in Douglas County in 2030)? Learn what’s next for the Alexandria Senior Center at a one-hour, informative, virtual Listen & Learn event on Wednesday, May 24 from 12-1 pm.

Shelli-Kae Foster, Executive Director for the Alexandria Senior Center, will share information on the current status of the Center and highlight key findings from statewide research on what other communities are doing to provide engaging programs and services for seniors as we ready ourselves for a “silver tsunami.” Please join the discussion.
