SCSU Paws on the Pavement 5K

St. Cloud State University and SCSU’s Department of Sports Facilities and Campus Recreation invites Huskies and supporters near and far to take part in the Paws on the Pavement 5K during Homecoming 2023 at SCSU.

Students, teams, organizations, clubs, residence halls, alumni, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to join in one of the most anticipated events during Homecoming on Oct. 7 while showing your Husky pride during a unifying 5K run/walk around SCSU’s campus.

The 5K begins at 8:15 a.m. at Husky Stadium and will travel by Husky Plaza, on the Beaver Island Trail and more before finishing at Husky Stadium. Immediately following the Paws on the Pavement 5K run/walk, prizes will be awarded in several categories.

The price to register for the 5K is $35 and $10 for SCSU students. Same day registration will also be offered the day of the 5K. A late registration period will be held from 7-8 a.m. at the Husky Stadium Box Office the morning of Oct. 7, which is the same location of check-in for the race.

All are welcome to register for the event online or at the Welcome Desk in Campus Recreation by Sept. 18. Same day registration will also be offered the day of the 5K. For more information, please contact Camille Myers by emailing camille.myers@stcloudstate.edu.
