Funds raised will be used to provide support to those in our community that are in need of assistance through their grief journey.
Most recently, Bri’s Lodge and Angel Reins have developed a Grief Equine Assisted Activities Program, Horses Healing Hearts. The program is designed for grieving individuals to find hope and healing. Individuals will be able to go to the stables at Angel Reins to connect with the horses. Whether that is through petting them, brushing them or just being in their presence. No riding will take place during these sessions.
Bri’s Lodge offers 1:1 Companioning, and support groups. Our companions are certified through The Center for Loss and Life Transitions with a minimum of 150 hours of classes and training in Fort Collins, Colorado.
We also collaborate with the Veteran Resource Enrichment Center(VREC) to support veterans in and around our community through discussion talks.
