The original movie about a rising actress and troubled fading actor, featuring Fredrick March and Janet Gaynor. This movie inspired 3 remakes, and won best Oscar for best original screenplay and a special Oscar for technicolor photography.
and 7th Heaven (1927, Frank Borzage) Time: 2 hours
Silent romantic drama of an unlikely couple falling in love, featuring Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell. Janet won 1st ever Best Actress award for 7th Heaven, Sunris and Street Angel. Film also won best Director and first Best Writing (adapted screenplay).
If time, other features or short films will also be shown.
Doors open at 11am, first film starts at 12pm.
