Synopsis: Former actress, Myrna Marlowe, leases a house to settle down and write her autobiography. Soon, her nosy neighbors become too much and she invents a mad, homicidal sister who is kept locked upstairs in an attempt to scare them off. The ruse works for a bit, until the local handyman develops a crush on the mystery woman and hilarity ensues.
