A week 0 event is comparable to a preseason event and its purpose is to test robot components, train drivers, and test game strategies for regular season competitions.
This event is hosted by Willmar’s Area Robotics team WARPSPEED 4239 as well as the West Central Hub.

Schedule:
7:30 AM – Pits open
8:30 AM – Brief Drivers Meeting
8:45 AM – Opening Ceremonies
9:00 AM – Matches Begin
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM – Matches Resume
3:45 PM – Matches End
4:00 PM – Closing Ceremonies
Team’s Information:
-Cost: $175 ($150 if game pieces are provided, options are two cones or one cone and two cubes.) Your discount will be applied when you give us your game pieces for the day.

-There is a $6 lunch deal which is common at other events like this offered to teams. There is a link below for signing up. There will also be emails sent out regarding this.
-We will be making the team version of the field out of wood, so be aware that measurements will be close to competition field measurements but may not be 100% true.
-Deliberate damage to field and field components will result in team dismissal from the event.
-Excessive robot to robot contact and aggressive play is not allowed.
-Willmar High School’s wood and metal shops will be open for teams to use at this event.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us put on this event!
You must be available all day February 24th for the event. Besides that, why not get a free lunch while watching robots all day!
