3 Unbelievable Breakfasts

When it’s time to go out for a big breakfast, here are 3 that are worth a look.

The Travelers Inn

The Hungry Man from Travelers Inn in Alexandria. This mainstay restaurant has been serving up huge portions since 1926 and has been owned by the same family since 1967. The Hungry Man consists of 2 of everything. 2 Eggs, 2 Pancakes, 2 sausage, 2 bacon and 1 hashbrown. Ok, so it’s not 2 of everything, but you wouldn’t be able to eat a second hash brown anyway!

Charlies Cafe

Not sure how hungry you are? Charlies in Freeport offers a fun way to eat. A breakfast ala cart menu that allows you to choose the number you want of everything. But whatever you choose, make sure you leave enough room for the Home Made Carmel Rolls.

Kay’s Midtown Cafe

Kay’s Midtown Cafe serves up exactly the kind of food you’d expect. A breakfast that’s smothered in syrup, smothered in hollandaise sauce, or smothered in gravy. It’s like going home, except Kay’s cooks better. As for Breakfast, check out the breakfast skillet. Home fries topped with scrambled eggs, onions, green and yellow peppers and your choice of meat then smothered on hollandaise sauce. Oh wait, your not done yet. Loosen your belt because it’s served with toast in your choice of breads.
