There are specific days in a persons life that are more memorable than others: graduation day, your wedding day, the birth of your first child, AND the day you got your Weber SmokeFire Grill from Ace Hardware in Alexandria or Long Prairie. Ok, so that’s an exaggeration. The Weber SmokeFire would be more like the birth of a second or third child.

Easier

Here’s the thing, Weber has done something different with this grill. It’s not just a smoker, it can sear as well. Yes, it performs like a traditional grill. That means that there’s no need to sear on a stove top or second grill and finish up in the smoker. Grill or Smoke from start to finish on one appliance. It’s interesting to note that there is no propane component to this grill. It runs on wood pellets with an electric start. Yet it can still reach 600 degrees on the top end. The full temperature range is 200-600 degrees. As with any wood pellet smoker it will take time to get up to heat.

Connected

The Smokefire is Wi-Fi enabled. The phone app will allow you to check and adjust temperatures or remind you to fill the pellet hopper. As a lot of grill masters let meat smoke all night long, that’s pretty handy stuff. The Smokefire comes in two sizes. They call it the EX4 or the EX6. In normal people speak, it’s more like large and extra large.

Assembled

One big advantage to buying the SmokeFire from Ace Hardware in Alexandria or Long Prairie is that the grill comes completely assembled. If you’ve ever tried to assemble a grill yourself, you already know that there are some projects worth never doing again!
