With over 2 Million records sold and an Emmy award under their belt, Tonic Sol-Fa is easily the most famous of the music groups from 320. According to their website, they shared the stage with a number of recognizable performers including Jay Leno, Jeff Foxworthy and Weird Al Yankovic, and were recently inducted in the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame alongside Prince. They started right here in the 320, meeting at St. John’s during their college years.

Over the years, there have been albums and tours, but this Christmas season, there’s something special planned: The Shake Up Christmas Tour. Beginning in mid November, the tour will be stopping all over Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa. Two performances will be found right here close to home. December 1st, Tonic Sol-Fa be in Alexandria MN (Details Here) and on December 31st the tour will close out at the Paramount Theater in St Cloud. (Details Here)

Shaun Johnson & the Big Band Experience

And if that wasn’t enough, in between the 14 performances of Tonic Sol-Fa’s Holiday Tour, lead singer Shaun Johnson will be sneaking in four more performances with Shaun Johnson & the Big Band Experience. This tour is called The Nights Before Christmas Tour. These performances will be found in Minnesota and South Dakota, and will finish up in St Cloud on December 30th. (Details Here) Shaun recently won two Independent Grammys for “Best Original Holiday Song” and “Best Pop Song” out
of 650,000 entries. The Big Band Experience’s debut album, “Capitol,” debuted at #5 on the Billboard Jazz Charts. Putting these two together for the holidays promises a pretty special evening.
