The Ledge Amphitheatre 2022 Season

The Ledge Amphitheatre has put together a pretty incredible space for a play, musical or concert at 1700 Parkway Drive, Waite Park, MN 56387. It’s located between two stone quarries and holds up to 6000 people. The look of rock is everywhere and when you consider the upcoming season, the look and the sound will match!

Here’s a look at what’s coming up at the Ledge for 2022.

Aaron Lewis grew up in Springfield, Vermont, listening to his grandparents’ country 8-tracks. Those roots inspired the multi-platinum front man and founder of Staind to return to his origins. Since then he has quietly made an impact on country music. He’s recorded with George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Mickey Raphael, the Cox Family, Ben Haggard and Dan Tyminski and producer Buddy Cannon. He has claimed two #1 Billboard Country Album debuts for his albums Town Line and Sinner. Lewis’ single “Am I The Only One,” debuted on Billboard’s #1 Hot Country Song,” only the 9th time a debut has topped the chart since 1958. The hard touring, workingman’s star’s latest album Frayed at Both Ends was released in January of 2022, his most personal and unplugged work.

The Goo Goo Dolls were formed in Buffalo, NY in 1986 by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac. They quietly broke records, contributed a string of staples to the American songbook, connected to millions of fans, and indelibly impacted popular music for three-plus decades.

Beyond selling 15 million records worldwide, the group garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations. In addition they seized a page in the history books by achieving 16 number one and Top 10 hits—”the most of any artist.” As a result, they hold the all-time radio record for “Most Top 10 Singles.” Among a string of hits, “Iris” clutched #1 on the Hot 100 for 18 straight weeks and would be named “#1 Top 40 Song of the Last 20 Years.”

Following a sold-out 2018 twentieth anniversary tour in celebration of Dizzy Up The Girl, Goo Goo Dolls wrote and recorded their twelfth full-length album, Miracle Pill [Warner Records]—igniting a bold and bright new era in the process.

In fall 2021, the band began a new chapter. They released of their first-ever holiday record It’s Christmas All Over. With over 30 years together as a group, over 15 million albums sold, and 16 number one and Top 10 hits, Goo Goo Dolls remain at the top of their game and in a league of their own among rock bands.
